Hey Choir!
Our first concert is this week!

PLACE:  Ellison High School.. Please park in front of the auditorium and go into the building and find your assigned seat when you arrive. We will be sitting in concert row order so we can get on and off the stage easily as a group.

TIME & DATE:  Thursday, October 17th.  The concert starts at 7:30 with the 6th grade students performing first.  Please be in your seat by 7:15 at the latest......

Period 3 - 7/8 Concert Women:  Dark colors - pants or dress or skirt. NO HIGH HEELS.

Period 4 7/8 Women:  Fall/Halloween colors - pants, shirt, dress, or skirt. NO HIGH HEELS.

GRADE:  This is a mandatory concert.  Students will receive a summative grade for this concert.  This is their final test for the 9 weeks.
There will be three grades given. 1-Attendance, (did you arrive on time and stay the entire time) 2-Participation (singing on stage) 3-Audience Etiquette (did you conduct yourself in an appropriate manner while at the concert).
Students are expected to be on time, sing their best, and remain in the audience until the concert is over.  If a student leaves after they perform they will receive a "0" for audience etiquette portion, therefore earning a grade of 66 for the concert.  Please do not take your student after they perform unless you have an emergency.

we will be in full attire for our Christmas Concert on December 5th. This means the women will be in their black dresses with new scarves and guys in their tux shirts.  I will be sending home information about this very soon.

Please contact us: catherine.lewis@killeenisd.org or jennifer.tucker@killeenisd.org if you have any questions about the concert.  Please make every effort to get your child to this mandatory concert.  I want to help you and your family so if their is a problem please contact me so we can help :)
